Roy is widely credited with discovering Eminem, and was instrumental in promoting and building the careers of Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and Tupac. Those years taught him that authenticity moves culture faster than any marketing budget — an artist's fit, attitude, and hometown sound carry a signal that echoes far beyond the radio.
